Helen and Daddy Photo Shoot

These are the first official pictures we have taken of Helen! Can you believe she is ten months old already!!!!

Listen up!

So far I have five people down for The Chubba Bubba Club. The people I have down as for sure interested are : Me, Sam, Amanda, Todd (my dad), and Diana. (If you are one of the afore listed and have changed your mind, please let me know) The other people I have down as possible competitors are Lamoni, Dell, and Marc. Those of you who are 'possible' competitors, please let me know ASAP so I can start getting the chart set up before the madness of Christmas week begins.

Alright competitors, here's how it will go. Starting Monday the 3rd of January, the competition will begin. Every week each competitor must put two dollars towards the pool (I will be the score keeper/money keeper) so if you can get it to me that would be the easiest way to keep track of it. However if circumstances don't allow, you can either just pay all at once (16.00 total), or set it aside somewhere it won't be spent over the 8 weeks. The person with the highest percentage of weight lost and averaged out inches lost over the 8 week competition, will win it all!!

I will be keeping score, so I will need everyone's start weight (and possibly inches...not sure yet) so I can log it all along the way, this will ensure honest, fair, and accurate score-keeping. It will be completely confidential so there is no need to worry or stress about that. If you do have problems with me keeping your (CONFIDENTIAL!) information, then we can work something out. I would like to have everyone's start info by the 3rd if possible. Also as mentioned before, the way you get lose the weight and inches are entirely up to you, so long as it is not bad for your body.

The last day of the competition will be March 1st. Also let me know if you think having a potluck healthy food party would be fun, or doing workout sessions together every once in a while of the 8 week course.

It should be a really fun competition and the prize will be at least $100, so let's get crackin'!

Chubba Bubba Club 2011!!!!

Now I don't know about the rest of you but I have been trying to get into shape the last little while, what with having had a baby not long ago, and so far it's hard for me to motivate myself. So, for those of you who haven't heard I am starting up another Chubba Bubba Club. Those of you who don't know what that means, it is an 8 week competition to get into shape, the person who loses the largest percentage of their weight combined with an average of inches lost will be the winner. Each week each participant will submit 2 dollars to the pot, at the end of the eight weeks the 'biggest loser' will receive all of the money.
It will be a fun competitive way to get into shape and possibly earn a little extra spending money. Seeing as this is my hairbrained scheme, I will be the score keeper, I will collect the money for the pool and keep track of everyone's progess (don't worry it will be completely confidential, it's mostly just so we can be fair with the scoring.
Pretty much the only limitation is that you must lose the weight HEALTHILY, aka no starving yourself or doing some ridiculous 3oo calorie a day diet plan .Please let me know if you are interested! Any questions, feel free to contact me. So far there are already four members! Also, if you have any friends who might be interested they are welcome to participate as well, just let me know! Post 10k pictures!

Today Amy and I ran a 10k race and met our goal. Our goal was to run the entire 6.1 miles without walking and we did it! It was tiring and hard work but we survived, and race course was gorgeous! Overall it took us about an hour and 20 minutes!

Starting tomorrow Helen will be up for voting as a Gerber Baby Generations Contestant! You can vote once a day and it only takes a few minutes. Here's what you do

2. Click on the blue tab that says where it says "photo search"
3.Then click the red bar that says "Enter your child's photo"
4. Go to the red circle that says "Vote"
5. Look up Helen's name in the search box or type in provo as the location to narrow the baby search.
